How do you repair a CD/DVD Drive?
Our CD/DVD Drive Repair service will first assess if we need to replace the part or not. Occasionally the laser inside a CD/DVD drive will need to be cleaned out. This can result in a DVD drive that spins up, but does not successfully play a DVD. A good cleaning may help it! However, if there is damage to the part, a replacement will be necessary. In which case, don't worry, we can do that too.
How do I know if I need to repair or replace my CD/DVD Drive?
CD and DVD drives can malfunction for a number of reasons. Sometimes the problem is a software issue that prohibits you from playing a certain file type, or sometimes the hardware has completely died. If your CD/DVD Drive is just simply not working for you, you should get it looked at.
How long can I expect this to take?
We stock some CD/DVD Drives but not all. However, no matter what kind of drive you need (DVDRW, Blu-Ray, light scribes) we will be able to order it for you and have it here as soon as possible.
How much will this cost?
