It’s exactly that, we replace your hard drive.  The storage device on your computer can either be a Hard Disk Drive(HDD) or Solid State Drive (SSD) but we can replace either of these.  In fact, we often stock all kinds of both, so if you would like to change what type of hard drive you use, we can explain the difference and let you decide.

Prices vary by model (call for a FREE Quote!), but it absolutely makes sense to fix. Computers are expensive machines, so don’t let that outdated hard drive hold you down any longer!

We stock most types of HDDs and SSDs that you could feasibly want, so the installation of a new part shouldn’t take very long.  The part that could take a while is testing the computer to make sure that the hard drive is the problem, before making any rash decisions.

If your computer has been having glitchy interface issues or has become abnormally slow, we will take a look at it and make sure that the hard drive isn’t the problem (this can often be a very simple fix like a reinstall).  In most situations, the hard drive simply isn’t large enough for your needs anymore.  Hard drives are much larger now than they used to be, and a lot of programs now take up more space than they used to.  Sometimes an upgrade is in order.
