REPAIR: iMac Graphics Card Replacement |
If your iMac's display is a little off, or the screen is just downright blank, there are a few different possible problems - including a bad graphics card. Graphics cards (also known as a graphics processing unit or GPU) control your screen, and if your screen's not working it's probably either a problem with the LCD or the graphics card. We can test for and fix both of those problems though!

We’ll make sure that the problem is with the graphics card, and then we’ll open up your iMac, take out the faulty part and replace it with a functional one.
Prices vary by model (call for a FREE Quote!), but it absolutely makes sense to fix. iMacs are expensive machines, so don’t let a dead screen on your Mac desktop turn it into a paperweight!
The graphics card is what it sounds like – so if your screen isn’t working for some reason but you’re not sure what it is, there’s a good chance it’ll be the graphics card. We’ll also check to make sure it’s not the LCD or a software issue before we go replacing parts!
We may have the specific graphics card needed for your iMac model, but we can’t stock them all. If we don’t currently have yours on hand, we’ll have to order one, but don’t worry because that usually only takes a couple days!
