Laptop Won't Charge
If your laptop won’t charge, we can help! There are a few reasons a laptop may not charge, but the most likely cause is the power jack. A computer that doesn’t charge could also have a problem with the battery and/or charger. Here are a few quick tips to diagnose WHY your laptop will not charge:
Bad Charger
Have you tried another charger? If you haven’t tried another charger, or if your charger doesn’t charge another computer, maybe it’s just the charger that’s not working!
Bad Battery
Does your laptop power on and work while it’s plugged in, but the battery still doesn’t charge? If this is the case, it may be a bad battery. You can pick one up on eBay or just stop by our office and we’ll help you order one!
Power Jack Repair
If your laptop is having problems charging and you’ve tried another charger to no avail, it’s probably a power jack problem. Feel free to check out our Power Jack Repair page, or simply stop by for a quote!
