Laptop Won't Turn On
If your laptop won’t turn on, we can help! There are a lot of reasons a laptop will not power on, and we can help you diagnose WHY it’s not powering on. Maybe it’s just your charger that needs to be replaced.
Or maybe there was liquid damage to the motherboard. Whatever the problem that’s causing your computer to not turn on, bring it in and we’ll look at it for you! Here’s a few of the common problems:
Backlight or inverter failure
If your laptop has a damaged power jack, it won’t charge and once the battery is dead, your computer won’t turn on. We can replace the power jack and get you back in business.
Memory is bad
If one of your memory sticks goes bad, you may hear a beeping noise, you may see the Caps Lock key flash, or it may do nothing at all! We can run a memory test to see if this is the culprit.
Motherboard needs repair or replacement
If everything else looks good, you may be having a motherboard problem. Sometimes motherboard can be fixed, other times they need to be replaced. We’ll look at it and let you know!
