If you have an iMac with a broken LCD – meaning that the screen isn’t working properly but the glass isn’t cracked or chipped – you probably need a screen replacement.  Even if your glass is the only thing broken, some iMacs have the LCD and screen combined with each other, meaning a full screen replacement is still necessary.
