iPhone 6 Coming Soon?

Posted on:

The summer is coming to an end; fall is rolling around, and with it comes rumors of the newest iPhone release. Historically Apple has released its latest phones around this time, with the iPhone 4s being released October 2011, and the iPhone 5 appearing in September 2012. There are reports that Apple has scheduled an event September 10th, and many wonder if they will announce the latest iPhone. Whether it will be the iPhone 5S, or the iPhone 6, rumors have been flying. Expected to have a faster processor, a better camera, and a fingerprint scanner for added security, the newest iPhone is bound to be a popular buy.

There is good news for anyone who currently owns an iPhone though, Apple is planning to allow people to turn in their old iPhones in exchange for credit towards a new one. According to Bloomberg, Apple is working with a recycling company, Brightstar, to possibly refurbish old iPhones and resell them throughout the world. It is still unclear whether models such as the iPhone 3 or iPhone 3G will be accepted, however many think this is unlikely based on the current value of those models.

For current iPhone owners, that means there’s no reason to keep living with a cracked screen! Even if you’re waiting for the new iPhone 5S/6 to arrive, you’ll still get a significantly higher trade-in value from a working iPhone. So if you’re holding out for the newest iPhone (like we are) but still have problems with your current phone, stop by Computer Repair Doctor, the best iPhone repair in Tallahassee.

While most would agree that the iPhone 5 is superior to its predecessors, almost all would agree that it is significantly more difficult to hold onto. The sleeker sides and narrower build make it slide out of hands much easier than the (now ancient) iPhone 3 did. Unfortunately, this means that screens crack much more often, and that’s why we’re here! We recommend getting an Otter box and hopefully you won’t need our services. But if you do need an iPhone repair, we can fix it while you wait! So as you anticipate the announcement of the new iPhone, make sure to stop by Computer Repair Doctor, even if you just want to chat!
