- Tired of the same old 4-digit passcode? Go to Settings > Passcode and turn off Simple Passcode. This will allow you to use as many numbers as you want in your passcode.
- Listening to a song on Safari? Double-click the home button, go to music controls, and press play. It also works on the lock screen.
- To set a sleep timer for your music, toggle the clock app > timer > “When timer ends” > “Stop Playing > Start timer. Enjoy your music.
- Hang up a phone call and lock your screen at the same time by simply pressing the lock button.
- Do you have hundreds of unread emails that you don’t feel like opening? Reset the new message counter by clicking Edit > select first message > hold down mark button > Mark as Read
- If you type a number incorrectly into the calculator, don’t hit clear! Simply swipe left on the display and the last digit will be erased.
- Hitting the call button on an empty dial keypad will bring up your last call. Just hit call again and you’ve got redial!
- JAILBREAKING: Jailbreaking your iPhone allows you to customize settings that are previously not editable. To do this:
- First, back up all your data. Go to Settings > iCloud > Backup and select “Back up now”
- Disable the passcode. Go to Settings > Passcode
- Turn on airplane mode
- Download Pangu 1.1 and iTunes 12
- Once downloaded, open Pangu
- Plug your iPhone into your computer
- When Pangu recognizes your phone, select “Start Jailbreak”
- Click “Already did”
- Tap the Cydia icon to prepare the file system
