Sometimes a laptop fan will fail mechanically and other times it’s simply too clogged to do its job. Our experience techs can notice the difference once they’ve opened up the machine and assessed the situations. Most fans are relatively inexpensive though, so we don’t usually have an additional charge if the fan needs to be replaced!
Do you stock laptop fans
Some of them! Laptop fans come in all shapes and sizes. Since many designs are the same across models and manufacturers, we stock all the common fan models we come across. Unfortunately we don’t usually know if we have your fan in stock until we open up your machine, so bring it by and we can take a look!
Preventative maintenance
We like seeing you, but we know you might not always want to see us! The best preventative maintenance to avoid laptop fan failures is to clean out your laptop fan regularly. If it gets too bad though, stop by our office and we’ll be glad to help.
