How do I know if I need to worry about liquid damage?

If you have spilled liquid directly onto a port of your iPhone or have allowed any excessive amount of liquid onto/around your iPhone, it is never a bad idea to be safe and bring it in.  If you think you may be experiencing functionality issues because of a previous small spill, bring it in ASAP to limit the potential damage.
